So that’s why they’re having a sale on the 1st-gen Galaxy Tab – Samsung has officially announced an 8.9-inch Galaxy Tab that’s even thinner than the previously announced 10.1 incher.

What’s another surprise is that they’ve re-worked the 10.1″ Tab along with the 8.9″. These 2 new Galaxy Tabs are even lighter and thinner (that’s 8.6mm thin) than the recently announced iPad 2.
