New Sony Bravias with 500GB hard drives

New Sony Bravias with 500GB hard drives – Who needs a separate television and DVR when Sony makes new Bravia TVs equipped with hard drives?

The Tokyo-based company is releasing three new Bravia models that include 500GB hard drives — and allow users record up to 65 hours of high-definition television directly to HD. Not enough? Well, these sets have support for external drives, just in case you ran out of space.

The LED-backlit TVs are hitting Japan on March 20 for US$1,100 to US$1,800 depending on screen size. Just imagine how many people you can impress with one of these in your apartment… if you’re willing to shell out some bucks.
