Adobe officially announced the launch of Adobe Creative Suite 5 ( Adobe CS5 ), coming out on April 12th, 2010!

I have read this post about Creative Suite 5 That Adobe’s Mercury Playback Engine for Adobe CS5 is CUDA-only!
In the battle of GPGPU API’s, a lot of acronyms and words are being thrown around. nVidia pitches its set of robust tools such as CUDA language, Nexus development environment, GPU acceleration for open-source Bullet and proprietary PhysX physics engines and many more.

After Effects CS5: it’s faster

In Faster, After Effects product manager Michael Coleman shares a bit more on “an exciting aspect of After Effects CS5 — it’s faster. This is related to our 64-bit announcement back in October. In case you missed the announcement, After Effects CS5 will be native 64-bit. In previous posts, I’ve talked about the every-day advantages that CS5 has over its predecessors. When you have access to enough RAM:

Complex comps and high-resolution images are rendered smoothly.
Larger RAM previews allow you to view long comps in one pass.
Memory-intensive features like HDR and floating-point color are easier to use.
Your image caches can be much larger, which means more green bars and less re-rendering.
Low-memory errors are virtually eliminated.”

Adobe Photoshop CS5′s amazing content-aware feature

A lot of people saying its magic or some sort of witchcraft. Perhaps it’s too soon to tell until we try it for ourselves. Needless to say, this feature is amazing. Something to look forward to in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
