As part of the partnership Twitter says that “Tweets will be integrated into various services on Yahoo Japan, beginning with real-time results pages. This partnership will allow Twitter content to reach even more users in Japan, one of our biggest international markets.”

This is a big deal because not only is there a huge Twitter userbase in Japan, but it is also the country that the service has worked most closely with since their inception.

Twitter also recently struck a deal with NTT DOCOMO, Japan’s largest carrier, to include Tweets and Twitter content in NTT DOCOMO i-mode portal search results.

It’s also important to note that Yahoo was reportedly looking to sell Yahoo Japan to Japanese carrier Softbank, which already controls 42 percent of the subsidiary. If that deal takes place, it would be convenient considering Softbank already has a deal in place with Twitter to include the messaging and communications app pre-installed in Softbank’s cell phones.

The controversial video of Jan Jan Estrada, the six-year old boy who became an instant YouTube sensation following his supposed “erotic dance” on Willing Willie last March 12 got almost half a milion views and counting.

The game show’s host and producer, Willie Revillame, has spoken about the incident Monday.

The performance of the boy in one of the segment earned him the P10,000. The video that was posted on Youtube and became popular on social media sites had sparked public outrage in Facebook and in Twitter. The Willing Willie word have became trends in micro-blogging site Twitter. It was shared by thousand of Facebook users.

One of the concerned individual who have send a letter to the family of the six years old Jan jan was Cathy Babao Guballa, a columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. In her letter she wrote about her sympathy not only to the child but also to his family who used the said show of Willie Revillame and used himself as a tool to be laughed at by thousands of live and television audiences.

After the brief and live talk with the Estrada couple, Willie delivered his statement:

“Sana’y naintindihan ng lahat…yung mga nagti-Twitter o nagyou-YouTube na, una…ang tingin nyo eh inaabuso, hindi namin gagawin yan sa ating mga kababayan.

Nandito po kami para magbigay ng saya at tulong at pag-asa sa mga kamukha nitong mga batang ‘to, hindi ba…nangangarap eh, sa hirap ng buhay…poverty ang pinaguusapan dito…sa hirap ng buhay ho ‘yan.

Nandito kami para magbigay ng saya. Kung may na-offend kami, kung may na-offend ako, humihingi ako ng paumanhin… I’m sorry…pero ang importante dito eh nakita naming naging masaya ang pamilyang ito.

Kasayahan lang lahat ng ito. Hindi po namin babastusin o hindi po namin ipapahiya ang sino man dito. Itong programang ‘to ay para sa inyong lahat.

Earlier, the YouTube video showing Jan Jan Estrada, who recently became controversial because of his alleged “erotic dancing,” while crying, during the game show’s March 12th episode, created a stir in the internet.

Angry Birds has enjoyed more than 75 million downloads, so it’s about time that the game developer Rovio is expanding the franchise to the Facebook.

The official Angry Birds page on Facebook says that the game will come to the social network in a month, promising to update you on the release if you click “like.” Already 1,260,347 people have done exactly that.

Rovio, creators of Angry Birds, took to its official Facebook page to announce that the game would be coming to the social network in a month, keeping users updated on the games progress as long as they “Liked” the page. At the time of writing, 1,279,024 users have clicked “Like”.

The version for Facebook will somehow leverage the social graph — actually the game developer uses the word “collaborative,” which could have something to do with the translation from Finnish. However, Rovio’s Chief Executive Officer Mikael Hed has said, “there will be completely new aspects to it that just haven’t been experienced in any other platform,” and “the pigs will have a more prominent role.”
