Tyra Banks kicked off this season of her talk show by revealing her real hair. Banks is known for all of the wonderful, (and some not so wonderful) wigs she has always been seen in but today she decided to ditch it all and go o-natural.

Why is this such a big deal you may ask? Most people have never even seen Tyra without a wig on.

“I wish I was more of a diva,” Tyra told Tuesday’s “Nightline” while talking about cast changes on “America’s Next Top Model.” “I wish [I] was harder, I wish I didn’t care so much about being the nice girl all the time. Because a lot of the time people can take kindness for weakness … so I wish I had a little bit more ‘oomph’ in me.”

She showed a clip from the documentry on a show she did about “Good Hair” were black women discussed what they considered good hair and their reasons for relaxing (chemically straightening) their hair.
