Serena Williams has shown the world tonight what I have always known she is. It was impossible to hear what Williams said, but she was waving her racquet in a very threatening way at the line judge. The umpire then asked the line judge to come to the chair and tell her what happened. Then you could hear on the microphone Williams saying that she did not say that she would kill the line judge. So that is pretty much a dead give away. Whatever she said it was something very threatening and she should not be allowed to get away with this. This is utterly unacceptable behaviour and terrible for tennis. Williams should be banned from tennis! I am so disgusted now I don’t even know what to tell you. No one will ever doubt what kind of person Williams is ever again.

In a way I’m glad she did this because everyone knows what I have always known now. This is one of the reasons I don’t like women’s tennis. How can someone who is supposed to be the best of her generation lose to someone who just came back from a three year break from tennis? Imagine that happening in men’s tennis! Three years out of the men’s game and your career if over. Out. Done. What does that say about the depth and competition in women’s tennis? Serena is supposed to be a role model and she does this?! Can you imagine Roger saying something like that to a line judge? I’m so disgusted now I can’t even write any further.
