Jennifer Lopez falls during her performance at AMA (video)
That is what happens when you try to dance and sing about Louboutins at the same time. (You should also probably watch this Lady Gaga performance, if you are into being baffled but mesmerized.)
The choreography for the dance’s climax had J.Lo using the backs of her male dancers as stepping stones. When she got to the top, she jumped off the torso of one of the dancers and landed smack on her buttocks. She immediately jumped back up and performed the rest of her routine flawlessly.

Two things about this one show that Lopez is still a star. To start with, she didn’t miss a beat on the fall. That was a pretty good jump, she landed flat and bounced right back up.
Here’s the difference between Lopez (a star) and me (a schlep). Lopez falls after climbing a staircase made of human beings, and literally standing on the back of a guy while belting out her notice to the world that she has returned. Meanwhile, I stub my little toe on the side of the refrigerator in the middle of the night coming to raid the fridge, and I have to call in sick the next day and I limp for a week.
Yep, she’s still got it.
Adam Lambert also fell in his controversial performance, which included him kissing a male back-up singer.

J.Lo’s routine was set to a boxing-match theme. She and several dancers emerged from the crowd at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and made their way to a boxing ring on the stage.

Good deal. I like Jennifer’s music a lot. It actually temped me when individuals say something like since she’s 40 she shouldnt create music anymore. Thats ridiculous. Bring it J.Lo!
