America’s Best Dance Crew
After much speculation that the show had been cancelled after its third season, Judge JC Chasez has confirmed America’s Best Dance Crew is back for a fourth season.
MTV has aired a trailer announcing the fourth season beginning on Sunday August 9, 2009 at 9pm ET/PT.
According to a post on MTV’s blog, the 9 crews have been selected to compete at the ABDC Season 4.

Based from the blurbs, I can only see one dance crew with a probable Asian dancer(s)… are there more? We need to emphasize on the Asian aspect seeing that this news is supposed to be under the Asian news section… or maybe emphasize on the previous winners who have Asian dancers amongst them… I know Jabbawockeez and Quest Crew have Asian Americans amongst them, what about Super Cr3w?
Think the reality dance genre is tapped out?
Not so, said hip-hop choreographer Shane Sparks.
Sparks, who serves as a judge on MTV‘s “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” and choreographs hip-hop numbers for Fox‘s “So You Think You Can Dance,” thinks there’s room for at least one more show.
